May 9 has long been a landmark day in the history of the Russian Federation. It was on this day back in 1945 that Soviet troops won a terrible bloody war over Nazi Germany. It was in 1945 that the first military parade of winners in the history of the Soviet Union took place in Moscow on Red Square.
Since then, the widespread celebration of Victory Day has become a good tradition, and the main center of the celebrations continues to be the capital of our homeland - the hero city of Moscow. And, first of all, it is famous for its grandiose military parades.
If one fine day you decide to watch a military parade not on the TV screen, but live, congratulations. One day we decided exactly the same. My friend Alla and I celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory in Moscow. It was a truly unforgettable day! Well, first things first.
I would like to warn you right away that you should not even hope to come close to Red Square on Victory Day. The square has been closed to the public since May 1. Only veterans, members of veteran and military societies, heads of state and government, as well as their relatives have a chance to get into the stands. If you fall into at least one category, consider yourself incredibly lucky!
