The size of the fish is measured in centimeters, starting from the top of the jaw to the tip of the fin. If you have already caught a fish that is not the right size to take with you, you must immediately release it back.

Winter fishing events of the Komi Republic
In Komi, fishing competitions are held all year round on ice, from a boat, with a spinning rod, with a jig, and so on. For example: In 2015, the champion of the Komi Republic in jig fishing was held in the village of Chasovo. The participants were satisfied with the organized event. Clean areas for cars, good prizes, excellent fishing conditions.
Children and women could take part in the competitions, and they were not required to pay a fee of 50 rubles. The competition was divided into 2 rounds of 2 hours, between which there was a weigh-in. Two hours was enough for a good catch. All participants and especially the winners were pleased!
