Fishing on White Lake

White

Fishing on White Lake is of the greatest interest to anglers, since this body of water is the largest and has a complex bottom topography. In addition, fishing on it is possible both from the shore and from a boat. Its maximum depth is 13 m, the average is about 6 m. The bottom is muddy. Live here:

  • roach;
  • crucian carp;
  • white bream;
  • pike;
  • perch.

On a note! In the eighties of the last century, Beloye was regularly stocked with carp, which even now continues to occasionally fall on the hooks of donors and feeders. The weight of some individuals exceeds 10 kg.

Roach

Most of the floaters come to Beloye to catch roach, which in this reservoir can reach quite decent sizes. Specimens weighing more than 500 g are often found in fishermen’s cages.

The most active roach bite is observed in May. At this time, fly float rods 5–7 m long are usually used to catch it. Bloodworms are considered the best bait in the spring. Fishing is carried out at a depth of no more than 1.5 m.

With the arrival of summer, it is easier to catch roaches on Lake Beloe using feeder gear thrown 20–30 m from the shore, where the depth is 3–4 m. From June to September, a variety of plant baits work well on this reservoir:

  • scalded with boiling water, whole oat flakes;
  • boiled pearl barley sprinkled with dry milk or baby food;
  • semolina with added sweet flavors.

A bait mixture consisting of fine-grained components will significantly increase the number of bites.

Throughout the summer, large roaches from White Lake prefer boiled pearl barley.

With the autumn cooling of the water, the roach moves to areas with a depth of 5–7 m and again begins to prefer bait of animal origin. In winter, this fish is successfully caught using jigs and float tackle. The best bite is observed on the last ice.

crucian carp

White Lake is also visited by those anglers who are keen on catching crucian carp. This representative of the carp family begins to bite in the first half of May, its feeding peak occurs at the end of the month and the first half of June. In the spring, it is easier to catch it in the coastal zone on a float tackle, using a dung worm as bait. In summer, this fish is often caught on donks and feeders, readily responding to plant baits.

On a note! For fishing, you should choose areas with a depth of no more than 2 m, where there is a lot of aquatic vegetation. If in spring crucian carp take better from the bottom, then in summer bites occur more often in the middle layers. The fish almost completely loses its activity in October.

Podleschik

The white bream bite on Bely begins in the first half of summer. It is usually caught from a boat using float rods. When fishing from the shore, a feeder is used. All summer, the fish stays at a depth of 4–7 m and enters shallow areas only at night. In the dark, you can use a fly fishing rod to catch it, the floats of which are equipped with fireflies. The most catchy baits are:

  • muckworm;
  • a bunch of bloodworms;
  • “sandwich” of bloodworms with maggots.

In the midst of summer, when the water temperature can rise above 25 degrees, dough based on semolina shows good results.

White bream is mainly caught from the ice using winter float rods at a depth of 7–10 m. The key to successful fishing is high-quality bait, which includes at least 40% of food bloodworms.

Black

Black Lake is the smallest in the Kosinsky Three Lakes system. Its area is only 24 hectares, and the maximum depths do not exceed the three-meter mark. It is connected to Bely by a narrow channel. The water is dark in color, which is due to the large amount of bottom peat sediments.

The southern coast of Cherny is dry and sandy. In this area, comfortable fishing is possible without the use of a watercraft. In the rest of the territory, access to the water is limited, and fishing will be effective only if the angler has a boat. The main inhabitants of the lake are:

  • crucian carp;
  • tench;
  • perch;
  • pike.

Crucian carp on Cherny are caught with fly float rods at a depth of 1 to 2 m. It is better to cast the bait closer to the reed wall or thickets of aquatic vegetation. The largest specimens are more often caught by dung worms. Smaller individuals prefer bloodworms and maggots. The best bite is observed in May. In summer, night fishing can be effective.

Reference! There is quite a lot of tench in the lake, but it is not large in size. Its average weight is about 300 g. This fish is often caught during crucian carp fishing, as it feeds in the same places.

Perch in Cherny also does not grow to trophy size. In catches, specimens weighing 100–200 g are usually found. In open water, the predator bites on small “spinners” and small twisters of bright color. From the ice you can catch it using a miniature balancer, a vertical spoon or a jig with a bloodworm attached.

Black Lake perches are dark in color.

The bulk of pike is concentrated in the coastal zone. In summer and autumn, the predator responds well to the following types of bait:

  • minnow class wobblers with a depth of up to 1 m;
  • light oscillating spoons weighing no more than 10 g;
  • unloaded “rubber”;
  • topwaters.

In winter, it is easier to catch pike from the Black Lake using jig tackle. It is better to use local crucian carp weighing 30–50 g as live bait.
