2. Paraffin is buried in the template.
3. After pouring, the shape of the workpiece is modeled using a nail file.
4. Gypsum is diluted in water to the consistency of thick sour cream.
5. The paraffin model is placed in plaster. After it hardens, a hole will appear in the gypsum mixture.
6. A metal plate is placed at the bottom of the mold using a soldering iron.
7. The tin is melted and placed into a mold.
8. The frozen bait is polished with a file, after which the holes necessary for attaching the equipment are made in it.
9. The spoon is polished again with a file and painted in the desired color.

Homemade spinner from a coin

A five-kopeck coin is best suited for its manufacture. You will also need:

• round nose pliers;
• pliers;
• metal scissors;
• drill with a diameter of 1 mm;
• screwdriver;
• flat file;
• leash;
• winding ring;
• tee hook from the store.

Preparation method:

1. The edges of a clean, shiny coin are trimmed with scissors to create a diamond shape.
2. The vibrator needs to be given rounded shapes, for which the edges of the workpiece are processed with a needle file.
3. At sharp corners, holes are drilled using a screwdriver and a drill. For convenience, the procedure is carried out on a wooden board, and the coin is held by the edges with round nose pliers or pliers.

Material for production

White spinners

This type of tackle is the most popular among spinners . The white spinner is similar in color to a fish with white scales. And the predator comes at her willingly. Typically used for manufacturing:

• steel;
• zinc;
• cupronickel;
• silver.

The first two materials are easy to manufacture, but have one significant drawback - they give a bright reflection, especially in sunny weather. This may scare away the fish. Therefore, steel and zinc are used for fishing in cloudy weather.

But cupronickel and silver do not react this way to sunlight, and in general, many fishermen endow especially silver with magical properties of catchability.

Brass

Sometimes, for completely inexplicable reasons, predatory fish stops noticing white spinners and starts chasing yellow ones. Basically, they are made of brass. To do this, you can purchase standard brass sheets or use old utensils that were previously made.

Craftsmen make good spinners from copper.

Aluminum

Excellent workable material, easy to polish. But due to the lightness of such blanks, they often have to be weighed down. And this metal quickly oxidizes in water and acquires a gray tint. Therefore, it is recommended to paint lures made from this material.

Stainless steel

Has a high safety margin. Easy to cut and bend. Hobbyists often use stainless steel tubes that are weighted with lead. A very catchy tackle in winter with vertical trolling.

The process of making a tubular spoon

The undeniable advantage of a pike spinner-tube for pike, pike-perch, and perch is its ease of manufacture when compared with the technological process for “spinning spoons” or “spinners.” The algorithm of actions will be as follows:

1. We take an aluminum billet with a wall thickness of 0.8 mm and an outer diameter of 7 to 10 mm.
2. Using a hacksaw, we cut off a small piece from the workpiece, having previously secured it in a vice. In our case, the length of the sawn piece of tube is 50 mm.
3. Using the same hacksaw or grinder, whoever has it, we process the edges of the future bait on both sides. In particular, we make a cut angle of 60° on one edge, and a bevel of 20° on the other.
4. We clean the cut areas with a file or sandpaper so as not to leave sharp edges, burrs, etc.
5. At the edges of the body of the bait, use a drill to make holes on both sides with a diameter of 1 - 1.5 mm. And we sand the future lure-tube first with coarse sandpaper, and then with sandpaper until it shines.

So, the tubular spoon - bait for pike perch, pike perch, and pike perch is ready for use. Loaded tubular spoons are made according to the same scheme. But in addition, we pour molten lead on one or both sides of the bait. When sealing both sides, you can put a pellet in the cavity for a sound effect. As soon as the surfaces to be treated have cooled, they must also be sanded. Next, we carry out the installation of the suspensions described above.

in spring

In early spring, pike do not chase large specimens, but prepare to spawn. And other predatory fish have not yet shown the necessary activity. Therefore, small and running spinners should be used.

In summer

In the summer, it is not the size of the bait that is of great importance, but its ability to play. Use bright colors for painting; at this time of year, it is preferable to choose spinning and moving tackle.

Autumn

In the fall, the fish prepares for the winter; large spoons and heavy spoons are suitable here.

Winter
