Amusement Park "Dream Island": attractions, tickets and tips for visitors

Attractions in Moscow for children and adults are located mainly in parks - in Izmailovsky, Sokolniki and others. All-season indoor amusement parks, available in winter, are located in the buildings of shopping and entertainment centers.

Unfortunately, there are not many places left in Moscow where you can go on extreme rides - the largest complex in Gorky Park was dismantled back in 2011, the Cobra roller coaster and the giant Mars pendulum swing at VDNKh were closed. The Ferris Wheel is now only in Sokolniki and Izmailovsky Park.

There is also good news: the construction of an all-season amusement park will be completed in Nagatinskaya floodplain in 2021. Details here: Amusement park in the Nagatinskaya floodplain “Dream Island”

Below in the article you will find a list of the largest metropolitan playgrounds with carousels, swings, slides and other entertainment and a map that shows where the attractions are located in Moscow, as well as an indication of who the playground is intended for - for children or adults.

The largest amusement park "Island of Dreams"

Address : Nagatinskaya floodplain. The complex, located on the territory between the Moskva River embankment, Kozhukhovskaya Bay and Andropov Avenue, will become a Russian Disneyland.

In the fall of 2021, a giant amusement park will open in Moscow, which will occupy an area of 1 million square meters. m.

The main object of the “Island of Dreams”, which occupies a central position, is a fairy-tale castle. Behind its façade is an indoor amusement park and the Promenade recreation area. To the north and south of the castle there is a green landscaped park with three zones: children's, sports and family. The complex is completed by a landscaped two-kilometer embankment.

“Dream Island” is an entertainment center with 9 thematic areas, sports and children's playgrounds. At Promenade, the doors of a cinema complex, a concert hall, 53 restaurants and cafes are open to guests.

The amusement park has 29 attractions for visitors. There is a restaurant and entertainment cluster, a 4-star hotel and a yachting school on the embankment.

Bunny Hop Skate Park

Photo: Shutterstock

The Bunny Hop family skate park was invented by young parents who are in love with street sports. The name is not accidental: bunny hop (“bunny jump”) is a basic trick in almost any discipline, mastering which is necessary to perform more complex subsequent ones. The large space of the park - 300 square meters - is divided into several comfortable zones. The skating area has an extreme zone with different figures and a flat part for practicing difficult tricks, roller skating, balance bikes and longboards. Important: adults ride in protection and a helmet, minors - in a full set of protection (knees, elbows, hands and helmet). Spending time in the park is active, and afterwards you can freshen up - the locker rooms are equipped with showers and toilets. There are relaxation areas for parents and a playroom for children, as well as a mini-area with coffee and tea, and a children's library. The skate park hosts meetings with famous athletes, competitions and master classes, and also has its own school (operating since 2009). Disciplines: stunt scooter, bmx, board skating, roller skating, baby scooter and balance bike. Children from 2 years old can attend school. A good idea is to issue a gift certificate for training at a skate school.

Unlimited visits to the park will cost 400 rubles on weekdays and 600 rubles on weekends. Prices for classes at school are on the website. For Bunny Hop students, a rental and storage system for personal equipment is provided. Also here you can spend a holiday or birthday on a stunt scooter, skateboard, rollerblades and bmx, or simply rent the entire skate park for any purpose. Parking on the territory of the plant is paid - 150 rubles (a pass must be issued from the administrator).

The facility has received all necessary permits and certification from government agencies and has passed a safety inspection. This is important because the technical design is very complex. Our route is several meters longer than in Sochi. I am sure that it will be in demand among Muscovites. Maxim Liksutov

To limit the number of visitors and maintain social distancing, the Zipline flight is only possible with advance reservation. All staff regularly adhere to the mask and glove regime. However, visitors themselves can enjoy the beauty of the city and the sensations without protective equipment - there is no need to wear a mask during the flight.
