XXIV EXHIBITION-FAIR OF FOLK ARTS AND CRAFTS OF RUSSIA

The long-awaited celebration of beauty and talent will be seen by Muscovites and guests of the capital from February 28 to March 4, 2018 in pavilion No. 2 (halls 4-6) of the EXPOCENTER Fairgrounds.
On the eve of International Women's Day, the XXIV exhibition-fair of Russian folk art crafts “BOAT. Spring fantasy 2018" . Over 700 craft organizations, artists and individually working craftsmen from 35 regions of Russia will take part in the exhibition. Participants from the Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Kirov, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Tula, Yaroslavl and Penza regions and many others are waiting for you, as well as from the Republics of Dagestan, Chuvashia, Tatarstan, Buryatia, Yakutia.

Lacquer miniature painting, hand lace and embroidery, artistic processing of wood, metal, porcelain, ceramics and earthenware, glassware, artistic casting, forging, jewelry and home textiles, ethnic clothing, mosaics and stained glass.

Exhibition program

One of the working areas of the exhibition will be a meeting of the Expert Council of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, Innovative Development and Entrepreneurship.

As part of the project, a competition will be held in the “Flowers of Spring” category. The beauty of flowers will be embodied in lace and embroidery, painting and wood carving, lacquer miniatures and many other techniques of folk art crafts. There will also be a competition in the nomination “For the best exhibition design.”

At the exhibition, visitors will be able to see the entire palette of folk crafts, and not only enjoy man-made beauty, but also purchase original products of masters and artisans.

Torzhok craftswomen will present a new collection of linen clothing and accessories made in eco-style, harmoniously combining the comfort and quality of natural fabrics with traditional embroidery and modern fashion trends. Connoisseurs of porcelain will not pass by the unique tea pairs, to which the masters of the legendary craft “Gardner Manufactory in Verbilki” gave the name “Breath of Spring”. Magic bouquets will bloom not only on traditional trays presented at the stand of the Zhostovo Decorative Painting Factory , but also on sets of Bohemian glass, glass holders, boxes, alarm clocks, glass vases. Veliky Ustyug will present a new direction of table setting items, harmoniously combining two materials: noble silver and elite porcelain. Pavlovsk plant named after. The interactive platform will host master classes for children on a wide variety of techniques.
