Exhibition “Jewelry from Vintage to the Present Day”

What is the catch with exhibitions?

But let's talk about this. Are supplying firms, as the organizers claim, required to “be among the well-known” sellers of costume jewelry and confirm their involvement in the market? Do you need to prove something to someone? How practical is this?

And by participating in such an exhibition, will you really be able to establish a very profitable business partnership with costume jewelry suppliers?

The truth is that small suppliers almost always attend jewelry exhibitions.

Let's be honest. Small players almost always go to jewelry exhibitions. Such suppliers do not have money for normal promotion, and this is at least some chance for people to know about them. Major players are well known even without exhibitions – both offline and online.

On September 7, 2021, the Moscow Kremlin Museums opened the doors of Russia’s first retrospective exhibition “The Charm of Femininity. The splendor of Roman jewelry."

Over 500 pieces demonstrate the evolution of Bvlgari style over more than 130 years against the backdrop of women's changing tastes. The creations on display honor the women who made their own rules and chose Bvlgari jewelry to express themselves.

Lucia Boscaini, Heritage Director of the House of Bvlgari, Fr.

General Director of the Moscow Kremlin Museums Elena Gagarina added:

“By preparing the exhibition together with our colleagues, we wanted not only to show visitors to the Kremlin Museums the amazingly beautiful works of Bvlgari, but to demonstrate the special specificity of these jewelry, to show that in the life of a woman of the 20th century they always played not only an aesthetic, but also a social role.” .

The exhibition in the Assumption Belfry and the Patriarchal Palace is divided into two independent and at the same time complementary parts. The unique jewels from the first section demonstrate with their diversity the scope of imagination and the power of iconic collections. Here you can find the brand's "secret" jewelry, such as the stunning 1930s tiara, beautifully combining aquamarines and diamonds, that Princess Olympia Torlonia wore to her wedding.

The creations of the flourishing era of “Dolce Vita” are reminiscent of the starry surroundings of the House. The exhibition features the complete vintage collection that belonged to Elizabeth Taylor. It includes a necklace set with 17 Colombian emeralds and a sautoir with a pendant set with over 60 carats of a mesmerizing Sugarloaf sapphire, both of which were given to the actress by her husband, actor Richard Burton. Other impressive pieces on display for the first time include the collection of Italian actress Anna Magnani, including the Maison's incredible creation, the Trombino ring, featuring an extraordinary diamond of over 25 carats. The Italian beauty Gina Lollobrigida loved emeralds; her platinum earrings with emerald drops convey her inimitable charm.

The second section is reserved for Bvlgari collections that have gained iconic status: Serpenti, Monete, BVLGARI BVLGARI and Parentesi, as well as modular jewelry. Original and easily recognizable motifs captured the mood of the society of the time, as did the Roman spirit of the House.

Visitors will be able to enjoy avant-garde immersive video installations and digital elements that transport them to a world of limitless beauty. A multi-sensory experience is provided by music selected for each room and the iconic Bvlgari scent diffused throughout the spaces to take guests on an exciting journey through the world of Bvlgari.

To highlight and enhance the impact of the exhibition at the Kremlin Museums, Bvlgari installed a thematic installation of photographs and jewelry in GUM, the most sophisticated and legendary shopping center in Moscow, founded more than 120 years ago. A dedicated website dedicated to the exhibition, tributetofemininity.bulgari.com, will allow guests to discover the magnificent jewels of the exhibition and learn about the countless celebrities who wore them.

On September 6, on the eve of the opening of the exhibition, a private party was held at the Pashkov House on the occasion of this event, which was attended by celebrity guests. Among them are Alicia Vikander, Eva Green, Karo Daur, Giorgia Tordini, Gilda Ambrosio, Ornella Muti, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Elena Perminova.

Exhibition BVLGARI. “The Charm of Femininity. The Splendor of Roman Jewels” runs until January 13, 2021.

How to find a reliable jewelry supplier?

Your goal is to sell jewelry. A lot, profitable, with pleasure. Regarding the search for suppliers. Is it necessary, in the modern age of high technology and the Internet, to look for them at the exhibition? They are already well known and are always ready to cooperate. Let's face it: market players usually go to exhibitions who are currently experiencing some difficulties in promoting their products and do not want to miss the chance to somehow shine.

And, rather than wasting time traveling to the exhibition, it is better to buy goods from good suppliers and sell them!

This way you will kill two birds with one stone - you will meet professional players (who, by the way, will help you sell), and you will acquire a supplier.

If your store is located in a busy place and you have enough visitors, simply provide them with a large selection with the help of a reliable jewelry supplier that you can find right now without waiting for the exhibition. And more choice for buyers means more sales for the seller. This is an immutable law of trading that will never let you down.
