The oceanarium building has 3 floors, each of which is divided into specific animal habitat areas (there are 3 in total).
- If you start from the 1st floor, then there are two zones here: the “Rivers and Lakes” and “Seas and Oceans” exhibitions. As the name suggests, in the first hall you can see representatives of the fresh waters of Russia and the whole world, that is, various reptiles, turtles and so on. Impressive freshwater inhabitants include crocodiles, flamingos, and rhinoceroses. You can also walk through a tunnel that is surrounded by water, where you can visit the center of the underwater world and look at amazing fish.
- The second zone, “Seas and Oceans,” brought together the most interesting representatives of the world’s oceans. You will have the opportunity to pass by a pool with the most dangerous predators - sharks, and also make friends with penguins.
- On the third floor there is the “Jungle” zone, where a huge collection of various insects, monkeys and reptiles from all over the world is collected. Each zone of the aquarium is equipped with touch panels with all the information about the inhabitants of interest to you.
Also on the territory of the establishment there is a cafe where you can enjoy excellent cuisine, souvenir shops and a diving center where anyone can dive to the bottom of the pool with marine life.

First we came to an exhibition of freshwater inhabitants from rivers and lakes from different parts of the world. Each aquarium is accompanied by an electronic sign on which the name of the inhabitant is written; when switching slides, you can read a couple of sentences of description. In my opinion, it would be more convenient to read static information.

The first large aquariums that greet guests contain large fish, such as sterlet and sturgeon. Here they are large, beautiful and artistic, not at all like those that swim in aquariums in supermarkets.

"Moskvarium" - the largest oceanarium is located at VDNKh
In 2015, the opening of Moskvarium took place. This grandiose project was implemented at VDNKh. Moskvarium features stingrays, sharks, octopuses and many other representatives of the rich oceanic fauna. All of them move freely in a gigantic aquarium. Ticket prices for 2021
If we talk about the cost of visiting the aquarium at the moment, it looks like this:
- From Monday to Thursday, a ticket for viewing all the presented areas costs 900 rubles for adults, 600 rubles for children. The same services on Friday, weekends and holidays cost 1000 and 800 rubles.
- It is possible to visit the “Rivers and Lakes”, “Seas and Oceans” and “Jungles” zones separately. Check the cost of exhibitions by phone or on the official website.
Children under 4 years of age have free entry to the aquarium.

This oceanarium is the oldest in Moscow, it is located in its very center. Over the past ten years, they have been able to grow a real coral reef in it, simply amazing with its natural beauty. In the RIO shopping center, the reconstruction of the oceanarium, which began in March of this year, should soon be completed. Aquarium in the Oceania shopping center
A new shopping center Oceania opened on Kutuzovsky Prospekt in 2021. The tallest aquarium was built in it, which became the reason for the name and stylization. Exotarium of the Moscow Zoo
