Pros: Lightweight, sonorous. Strong. Details in the comments.
Disadvantages: The assembly is lame - my next tulip ring is attached to the axis of the others, + the reel seat has crumbled. Despite everything, I’m happy with the spinning rod.
I’ve been fishing with Bluebird 682 1-7g for 2 years now, the relative comfort is 2-6g of Cheburakh, the sensitivity is high, the wobbler doesn’t twitch, it pulls small cranks, but with effort, oscillators/rotators up to 5g maximum. The casting is good, especially with a thin braided line (cap). During these 2 years, the by-catch included leonids up to a kilo, sary abrammens up to one and a half, and various perch.
But in short, all this is lyrics, in the summer I pulled out a mustachioed man under 10 kg on a paid site. Cord #0.6 according to the Japanese (0.132), + a 9lb carrot fluor knot - half an hour of torment and squealing of the clutch. I took it. A stick for this money - I don’t know any alternatives, guys. I'm not advertising, I'm just sharing my impressions. Now I fish with other sticks, this one stands and will stand, I’m not going to sell it. The spinning rod is well balanced with reels from 220g to 245g, but I had a 200g Rarenium - it’s not comfortable for me. But I prefer the balance to be at the bottom, to each his own.
Jig models
One of the most popular categories of spinning rods in the CIS are spinning rods for jigging. This fishing method is considered one of the most universal and effective, since it is suitable for most types of fish, and is also applicable in almost any conditions. Jig spinning rods are characterized by increased sensitivity and, as a rule, have a fast action, but there are also models with other characteristics. Below are the main lines of the Ukrainian manufacturer, designed for fishing in this way.
Jig gun
A specialized series of budget rods designed for jig fishing. Despite its rather low price, this line is a well-designed spinning rod with a narrow focus. The manufacturer claims that in order to keep the price of the product at a low level, more budget fittings were installed in order to invest the maximum amount of money in a high-quality form. The spinning rods turned out to be loud, sending, and having a sufficient margin of safety.

It is noteworthy that there are no “shore fishing rods” in the line - all three spinning rods are 2 meters long and are intended for fishing from a boat or in small bodies of water. At the same time, the range of tests - from 5 to 28 grams - allows anglers to choose comfortable gear for their needs.
The “lightest” rod has a bait test of 5–14 grams and a fast action, while the “heavier” models are made in an ultra-fast action, which helps them effectively connect the resistance of even fish quite large for their class.
SkyLine
A jigging series of spinning rods, in which coastal models predominate. This line qualifies as “long-range” due to its high throwing qualities. The blanks are made of high-modulus graphite, which gives them high sensitivity at the same time as a fairly significant margin of safety, which is facilitated by the butt reinforced with carbon winding.
The line consists of 11 rods ranging from light to extra heavy. All of them are made in ultra-fast formation, which greatly contributes to their range. The most delicate stick in the series has a test weight of only 3 to 12 grams, which even allows you to switch to micro-jigging, and the most powerful model SKYA-842SH is made with a test weight of 30–100 grams, which makes it designed for catching trophy predators on stormy rivers. Most Skylines have universal lengths from 251 to 258 centimeters, however, both classic boat lengths of 229 centimeters and a spinning rod with a height of 2.7 meters, which is familiar to many fans of shore fishing, are presented.
Receptor
The classic jig series Receptor consists of four models, including spinning rods for light and medium jigs. Only 4 models cover the entire most popular range of bait weights for this method of fishing - from 3 to 30 grams. The complex structure of the rods in the line is interesting, having a very sensitive tip, a moderately elastic middle and a powerful butt. Due to this, they have high sensitivity, perfectly tie fish against resistance, and at the same time are able to survive the attack of even a very powerful predator.

The rods are equipped with high-quality Fuji fittings, which have some of the best reviews among anglers. Zander
An interesting model of jig spinning rod from Favorite. In the company’s description, it is positioned as a semi-universal model, but users quickly found a real niche for this rod – fishing for pike perch with a jig. Its main feature is the glued monolithic tip, which makes it very sensitive, and a fairly rigid butt, which ensures a hard hook.
Its distinctive feature is also that the lower test for all models is not declared by the manufacturer and is indicated as zero even with an upper test of 60 grams. This is explained by the presence of a supersensitive tip.
The Zander line includes 6 spinning rods with lengths from 207 to 270 centimeters, but there are only 2 test ranges: 0–32 and 0–60 grams. The action is indicated as super-fast, but in reality it is, of course, complex due to the unusual design and rigid butt part.
Twitching wobblers on the Favorite Blue Bird spinning rod
As for fishing with spinners and wobblers, it is difficult to expect anything outstanding from a specialized stick, although the spinning rod performed very well when fishing for trout with spoons. With wobblers, it behaves very mediocre - the tip falls through, and if this is not so critical for uniform wiring, then at least some kind of jerky animation can only be done with powerful amplitude movements.
I still remember the first fish - although the size of that perch was small, the sensations from fishing were such that they are difficult to convey in words: every movement of the fish was involved, all its intentions were guessed... Unfortunately, over time, these sensations blurred. Most likely, this is due to the fact that I started fishing with higher class spinning rods.
At first, the holding capacity of Favorite Blue Bird did not inspire much confidence, but after the first large fish, by microjig standards, my opinion changed. Blank ties fish very well, giving all the initiative in the fight against prey to the spinner.
At the end of the “ode to memory” of my first consciously chosen spinning rod, I would like to add that there are not many spinning rods on the market that, years later, do not lose their relevance and become iconic in one category or another.
Ultralight class
Fishing with ultra-light forms is very exciting and interesting. Every year it is gaining more and more popularity among fishermen of the CIS countries. Classic weights for fishing with such spinning rods are 1–7 grams, and sometimes even lower, which implies the use of forms with very high sensitivity. The Favorite company follows trends and has a fairly wide selection of spinning rods of this class, differing from each other both in characteristics and design, and in cost. Let's take a closer look at the manufacturer's main ultralight spinning rod series.
Exclusive
Review of the Daiko Ultimatum spinning rod
A very high-quality series of ultra-light spinning rods in the middle price segment. The Exclusive line includes 4 spinning rods covering test ranges from 0.5 to 12 grams. They are equipped with ultra-light single-support Fuji SIC rings in a titanium frame with an anti-twist system.
This series is distinguished by the presence of shortened monolithic inserts in the blank, which have a positive effect on sensitivity, and also make the tip somewhat heavier, which shifts the center of gravity closer to the edge and increases the casting range of ultra-light baits. Despite the rather high price, the Exclusive is popular due to its excellent price-quality ratio, which is not too inferior to elite ultralight spinning rods.
Arena
Due to the growing popularity of trout fishing, including spinning rods like Area, the Favorit company designed and then seriously expanded its trout ultralight series, calling it Arena. Many models in the series cover the weight range from 0.6 to 10 grams. Spinning rods are manufactured with a length of 1.8–1.9 meters, which is optimal for classic trout fishing grounds, where fishing of this kind is carried out.
Arena spinning rods have an unusual design. The elements include both solid cork handles and bright, eye-catching colors. The Limited subseries is made in gold tones, and the cork handle in the reel seat area is decorated with iridescent inserts.
For lovers of extravagant design, Favorite developed the Arena Vivid subseries, which included forms painted in quite bright colors. They are considered budget variations of the classic model, which has a handle made of cork, while the Vivid series is equipped with handles made of brightly colored EVA neoprene.
Impulse
The Impulse series blanks are made from Japanese Toray carbon prepreg and belong to the mid-price category. Spinning rods are equipped with lightweight Fuji guides. This series is distinguished by the fact that it is designed for fishing with fairly long casts, which is why its longest model has a length of as much as 250 centimeters, which is very long for this class. The shortest blank, in turn, also exceeds the dimensions of classic Area spinning rods - its length is 207 centimeters.
The series has an action from fast to ultra-fast, which makes it optimal for fishing with microjig equipment, for high-quality animation of which both sensitivity and throwing qualities are sufficient, ensured by the high elasticity of the blank along the entire length.
White Bird
“White Bird” belongs to the budget ultralights from the Favorit company. One of its main features is a highly sensitive glued tip, which increases the overall sensitivity of the tackle. Spinning rods of the White Bird series perfectly animate all baits of relatively small weights - from jigs to wobblers. This line is one of the most popular in its class due to its fairly affordable price. The series includes 6 rods with lengths from 204 to 219 centimeters and weight from 0.5 to 14 grams. The most powerful models already belong to the light class, but nevertheless have rather low lower tests.
The Favorite rod range also includes a second “bird” model – Blue Bird, which has a more striking appearance than its white counterpart.
Favorite Blue Bird New - Review of inexpensive ultralight spinning rod
I think many experienced spinners remember their first consciously chosen spinning rod. So I wanted to talk about the Favorite BlueBird spinning rod, about my thoughts at the time I was choosing it, about my first impressions of using it and what has changed in my attitude towards it after three seasons.
This is a kind of goodbye - before I give this spinning rod to the new owner, I want to remember everything that he went through with me.
The Favorite Blue Bird series of spinning rods has been popular among spinning players for several years now. At the time I purchased one of the representatives of this line - namely the BB-682SUL-S model with a test of 0.5–5 grams, reviews about this “bird” could be easily found. And although few have tested this spinning rod for durability, the results showed that the Favorite Blue Bird can do a lot.
Station wagons
In addition to highly specialized categories, the Favorite company produces a fairly large number of universal spinning rods, aimed at a wide range of tasks, and also often at the mass consumer. These include a large number of series, such as Cobalt, Spirit, and many others. Below, the most popular series of this class are discussed in more detail.
Laguna
One of the most popular universal series of spinning rods from Favorite. The price tag for it is significantly lower than that of most of the company’s models, but it must be emphasized that this makes the rod made of no less high quality. Laguna spinning rods have a rigid butt part, which gives them a fairly large margin of safety, but in general they have a fast action and, due to the flexible tip, have fairly good sensitivity.
The spinning rods of this series are recognizable by anglers not only due to their characteristics, but also due to the pleasant blue color, beloved by the Favorit company.
The Laguna line is represented by twelve models of spinning rods with lengths from 198 to 270 centimeters and in classes from light to heavy, due to which any angler can choose a tool to his liking among them.
Professional
A universal series of rods, which includes only four models, covering the weight range from ultra-light to medium. The Professional line is intended for fishing from a boat with jigs, spinners, wobblers and other baits. It is equipped with high-quality fittings of a fairly high class, although not Fuji.
It is noteworthy that the rods of this series are distinguished by a high margin of safety due to their rather rigid texture and medium-fast action. The length - 220 centimeters - makes spinning rods not very suitable for coastal fishing, however, in small bodies of water they can be quite successfully used no worse than when fishing from a boat.
In addition to the above categories, Favorite produces a fairly large number of spinning rods of various types - from classic rods to jerking rods. like Twitch Special, to casting forms like Drive or Varita Casting. The manufacturer even has specialized fishing rods aimed at catching largemouth bass, produced in the Visor Bass series, which is quite rare for the CIS countries. In general, the company’s assortment is very diverse, and it includes both classic and specific models of spinning rods.
Spinning Receptor
Due to its excellent characteristics, the Favorit Receptor spinning rod can be used for medium and light jigs. A characteristic feature of this rod is its excellent casting qualities, such as accuracy and casting range. The tip of the spinning rod is painted gray. The rod is light in weight and has an optimal handle length made of EVA.

Evgeniy Sedelkin I bought a separate spinning rod for my boat, settled on the Favorite Variant, height 2 meters, test 5-25. I fished with it for one season. So far the impressions are only positive. I fish mainly with jigs, but, in principle, it also copes well with wobs. For twitching, of course, I would like a stiffer stick, but, again, then it will work worse on the jig. Here everyone will have to decide for themselves. The jig is more important to me. The company lived up to expectations, I think, after a season I’ll take a look at the shore guard from them.
Pavel Kubrev I catch them with Shard, 7–28 grams. Well, what should I say? Expensive! Really, very expensive. The stick is good, I took it for my Twitch. It works great, not a single station wagon was lying around. The wiring is clear, as if I was pulling the fence myself. It cuts through pike perch once or twice. There’s nothing to complain about, everything is great, but I’m not sure about the price. If it were at least a third cheaper, well, it wouldn’t have a price, otherwise... In general, it’s a spinning rod for wealthy gentlemen, but you can’t find fault with the quality. Plus you get a hefty margin of safety - last season I used it to pull an 8.5 kilo pike out from under the boat when it dragged me towards some snags. The Chinese would not be able to recover after this.
Vitya Rybak Decided to try to join the beauty and catch sailors in the village river with micro jigs. I bought Favorite White Bird delivered from Moscow and went to try it. At first, I kept catching and tearing off the thin fence on the reeds, but this was rather a complaint against my crooked hands, and it was unusual to fish with such flimsy tackle. But now I’ve gotten into it, in the evening after work I try to run at least a couple of times a week and grab some perch for the wilt. I don't really have anything to compare it to. This is my first ultralight, but with a regular spin, of course, heaven and earth - you feel all the holes when retrieving, and the bait flies for two grams. Sometimes I came across such humpbacks that I thought that everything, the new thing, but no, it survived, although it looked very thin for a spinning rod. So far I don’t regret the purchase, and besides, the price is normally so lower than that of the Japanese or Americans.
Arthur Bought a lagoon 5–21 for his son. I quit a couple of times myself. Of course, it’s inferior to my cut, but for the money it’s a very decent stick. The advantages are good sending power for such power, a large margin of safety, quite decent sensitivity of the tip, and an interesting appearance. Disadvantages - I drowned her small on the fourth fishing trip - I had to tie a rope!
Dmitry Kokh I have had Favorite Receptor with a test score of 6–24 for two seasons now. I mainly catch perch and pike on small rivers using silicone. I like the sensitivity - in weak currents, even with a light jig head you can feel the bottom. It throws on its own, and far, for me sometimes this is even a minus - it happens that I play around and throw the bait to the other side, tearing it off on the grass. Overall, I'm happy with the stick. I fish more at the bottom of the dough and closer to the middle, I haven’t tried to overload, I can’t say anything, I don’t even have heads larger than 20 grams. It was clearly worth the money, it was a pleasure to use the car, and it became easier to carry out careful bites.
Review of the Favorite White Bird 68UL-S spinning rod

Today I want to tell you about such an ultra-light stick as the White Bird 68UL-S. It’s a little new for me to use microjigs, and light baits in general, since I usually fish with heavy jigs or wobblers using more powerful rods, but relatively recently, thanks to the Favorite company, I came across a “white bird” in the dough from 1 to 7 grams, which I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with.
This stick has a glued top, which in turn indicates its purpose for jig fishing, but I suspect it will also cope with small spoons.
I got my first impressions of birdie fishing on the banks of the Volga, within the city of Zvenigovo. Fishing conditions were depths of up to 4-5 meters and a gentle current. Included with the spinning rod I used a Select cord with a diameter of 0.06 meters. Since the fishing took place in a moderate current, weights of 3-5g were used. Sensitivity was actually felt in the hand from 3 grams, which is good news, since this is a budget option. We were catching a striped robber then, and for me, as I already mentioned, it was the first time I was trying out mikruhi in action, but I was not at all disappointed - the fluttering of the fish and its resistance - the “white bird” form coped with all this with a bang.
My next fishing trips took place from a boat, where medium-sized pike perch and striped fish were actively biting. Having tried this stick with a fanged friend, I was not very pleased, since the blank does not have enough power to cut through its bony mouth, but this is justified, because its purpose is for mikruha, which is often used by small-sized pikes and perches.
My girlfriend also tried this stick, and after several fishing trips together, she rated it as fluff, and, indeed, it weighs 79 grams, and even after using a light stick, this difference is very noticeable. She formulated her impressions, which, by the way, made me very happy:
An amazingly light wand, so sensitive that you can feel the fluttering of even such a tiny fish. This is my zander, it looks more like a sprat, so what? I sent it to its native element so that the baby could grow up. Even this result makes fishing a pleasant pastime. Looking forward to the weekend!
As for the fishing and the restraining resource of the blank, I was satisfied, since I had the opportunity to catch a toothy one in the region of a kilogram, and this is not very easy to do in the current, and with thin tackle.
As I mentioned earlier, all models are equipped with a solid glued tip, which perfectly visualizes the moment the bait touches the bottom and allows for filigree microjigging. In addition, the lightweight and sensitive carbon blank makes it possible to control the bait and fish while fishing. Despite its budget, the spinning rod is equipped with anti-twist rings, allowing the use of the thinnest braided cords, and an ergonomic handle made of EVA material, which will be pleasant for amateurs in the cold season.
Review of spinning rod Favorite Blue Bird Compact 682UL-S - No. 4
Pros: Price, just class for this stick. I caught the season, I don’t want to exchange it for something more worthwhile, the stick is just excellent, the normas sense throws all the pokes in the hand at a height, I have 1-7g with the dough, 1.3g is visible at the tip of the ellie, and 2g, boldly, mostly I throw them 2,3,4 g, the stick is normal, the largest fish I took out was pike on a kilo, the stick is worthy.
Disadvantages: One thing I didn’t like is that sometimes it overlaps behind the tulip, but it’s rare, but it does happen. There are no more shortcomings. I recommend it to everyone guys!!
