At the same time, the fish, although they bite quite actively, are somewhat picky in terms of their preferred bait: sometimes they are caught on bread, sometimes on a sandwich of bloodworms and maggots, and sometimes on a dung worm.

Fishermen come to Lake Myrkai in any season. The condition of the ice in winter allows you to fish at a distance of 50-100 meters from the shore using a drill. In winter, fishermen come to the reservoir in the hope of a large catch of perch.

In summer, fishing on the lake is possible both from the shore and from boats on the surface of the lake. Crucian carp are especially active on Lake Myrkai in the summer. It is worth taking into account that fishing from boats is made difficult by the abundance of algae on the surface of the reservoir. “Karasyatniks” prefer their favorite method - fishing on a float in the reeds. Both plant and animal baits are used as bait. The best bite is observed in the morning from 6 to 10 am, when fishermen enjoy catching Myrkai “sweet” crucian carp. Eastern Bank (from Yekaterinburg)

At a fork a few kilometers after Muslyumovo, you need to turn towards Miasskoe (there will also be a corresponding sign). After some time, Shibanovo will appear to the right of the road. There are a couple of entrances to the shore of the lake in this village, you can also drive to its northern or southern outskirts - there you can also drive to the shore.

How to get there?

Lake Myrkai is far from a poor body of water, although it takes a lot of effort, but dozens of fishermen attack the shores and surface every day in any season. If you are interested in local fishing or hunting, you can get here in the following way:

The reservoir is located in the Krasnoarmeysky district. The distance to it from Chelyabinsk is 45 kilometers. You need to drive from the center of the region like this: from the Kurgan highway turn onto Miasskoye, towards Brodokalmak, then there will be a turn off to Shadrinsk, from which it will be about ten kilometers to the goal. The lake will be located on the right.
If you leave Yekaterinburg, then the path will be as follows: along the Ekb-Chelyabinsk highway you need to go to Kunashak-Muslomovo, here there will be the Techa River, along which you need to drive about 20 kilometers. After this, the Miasskoe-Brodokalmak highway will begin, you need to turn right and drive about another 15 kilometers. As in the previous case, you need to look for Lake Myrkai on the right.

Features of Lake Myrkai

On the shore of the picturesque Lake Myrkai, right next to the P-330 highway, are the villages of Shumovo and Shibanovo. Not far from Myrkaya there are lakes Sugoyak and Tishki.
