Travel to the Oka River through the village of Podmoklovo. Quite a specific road through the field. You may not be able to drive to the Oka River in a passenger car; you will have to leave the car in a field; modern crossovers and SUVs with low ground clearance may experience similar problems. The peculiarity of the road going through the field is a fairly deep rut, which makes it difficult to travel at any time of the year, but in principle, in dry weather you can risk driving. Fishing in this place is mainly done with feeder and bottom gear and spinning. In the quarries you can try fishing with a float rod. The following species are caught in this place: Bleak, perch, roach, pike, pike perch, bream, bream, other species have never been caught in this place.

Place 4. Lake Pavlenskoye. We have a separate article dedicated to this lake on our website. The article can be read here.

Place 5. Travel to the Oka River through the village of Mikhailovka. There are two exits into the field at the beginning of the village and at the end.

  • Exit 1. In summer, in dry weather, you can drive any crossover or SUV. In autumn, spring and in rainy weather, this exit can only be taken on SUVs with good mud tires. It is most likely impossible to drive a passenger car there, either in summer or winter.
  • Exit 2. In summer you can drive any car. In autumn, the situation is similar, except that the car will have to be left near the Oka River, without moving either to the left or to the right, it all depends on the rains. The road along the Oka River through the field in dry weather is passable by any car. In the spring, something like this can happen, as in the photo.

At the same time, exit 2 is usually very flooded with water in the spring.

In this place they mainly fish using feeder and bottom gear and spinning. You can install girders. There are quite a lot of places for fishing, but there are also a lot of fishermen in this place, but there is usually enough space for everyone.

The following types of fish are caught: pike perch, roach, bream, asp very rarely, silver bream, bream are quite large, pike.

Place 6

It has access to the Oka River, quite good, in the summer you can drive any car, in spring and autumn, in principle, if you drive along the bridge to the sand quarry, then on foot. Otherwise, according to the fishing method and types of fish, the place is similar to place 5.

Place 7.

Arrival through the village of Luzhki. In this place in the summer you can drive any car. Unfortunately, there are a lot of tourists and vacationers in this place; due to the good access, it is quite difficult to find a place for fishing in the summer, but it is possible. The advantages are a very convenient shore, you can swim, sandy beaches and a flat sandy bottom. In this place they mainly fish using feeder and bottom gear and spinning.

Pike perch, roach, white bream, silver bream, bream, and pike are caught.

The best fishing spots in the Moscow region: we go to Oka and Sestra

ISTRA RESERVOIR

What kind of fish bites: pike perch, pike, bream, perch, roach, bream

Experienced fishermen claim that the best fishing spot on the Istra Reservoir is the shore in the village of Lechishchevo. From Istra you can get to it by bus 32. Some anglers boast that their daily catch in these places reached 20 kilograms. True, to achieve such a record, you need to choose the right bait and bait. And most importantly, cast the bait as early as possible. Best time is 4 am.

PIROGOVSKOE RESERVOIR

What kind of fish bites: perch, roach, pike and bream.

It is best to get comfortable in the area of the village of Chiverevo or near the village of Povedniki. Bus No. 438 runs to this village from the Medvedkovo metro station, and bus No. 273 will take you to the village - but from the Altufyevo metro station. The Pirogovskoye reservoir is one of the largest in the region, but there is not as much fish in it as in Istra.

MOZHAYSKY RESERVOIR

What kind of fish bites: bream, ide, roach, bleak, perch.

For bleak it is better to go to the Zarechnaya Sloboda area, and for perch - to the villages of Myshkino and Babynino. The easiest way to get here is by personal transport. The banks here are quite flat, the fish bites well both at early dawn and in the evening.

OKA RIVER

What kind of fish bites: roach, ide, chub, bream, pike perch.

Fishermen are advised to choose the surroundings of Kolomna and Kashira for fishing. But the most picturesque and cool place is near the village of Drakino, where the Oka merges with the Protva. You can get here from Serpukhov by bus No. 131 or minibus No. 245.

IVANKOVSKOE RESERVOIR

What kind of fish bites: asp, bream, bream, roach, pike, pike perch.

The peculiarity of this reservoir is that it is located in two regions at once - the Moscow and Tver regions. There are magnificent landscapes everywhere and good catches. But it’s better to fish in the village of Ratmino in Dubna and on the island of Ukhodovo. You have to get there on your own.

SISTER RIVER

What kind of fish bites: perch, pike, bleak, chub.

This river is the most inaccessible. To get to it, you need to go to Dmitrov and then use personal transport, and then walk another three kilometers. But the most persistent know that their efforts will be rewarded. The sister merges with the Volga, so there is a wide variety of fish here.

LAKE SENEZH

What kind of fish bites: roach, bream, crucian carp, perch, pike, pike perch, tench

This artificial lake is famous for its abundance of roach, but there are also plenty of other fish here. Fans are advised to fish in the village of Timonovo. Buses and trains go here. If you are traveling by rail, you need to get off at Podsolnechnaya station.

But in general, of course, no serious fisherman will reveal the secret of his best fishing spot if he has been looking for it for many years. Only beginners are allowed to use a ready-made map; professionals will explore and discover more and more, more deserted places.

Although it is not so important for both amateurs and professionals to catch more roach, perch, crucian carp or pike, but to join in the fascinating process of finding their “gluttonous” place. After all, its discovery is akin to winning the lottery.

“Wild fishing awakens the ancient instinct of hunter and prey, when experience, knowledge, skill and dexterity are rewarded with a record catch,” says Ivan Serov, a fisherman with 30 years of experience.

Features of fishing on the Oka in the Serpukhov region.

In all the places indicated in this article, the Oka River has a very fast flow, and normal depths and depth differences are quite far from the shore. Therefore, the basic requirements for feeder and spinning rods are a great test of rods. For a feeder, you need to have fairly heavy feeders in stock, usually from 80 to 150 grams, it all depends on the casting distance. If you don’t have such feeders in your arsenal, then fishing may not work out; the feeder will constantly be washed to the shore.

In general, the places are quite interesting, there is always fish, the main bait is maggots and lard. You need to experiment with bait.

Fishing on the Oka River

So, today is a review of the reservoirs of the southern part of the capital region. I think I won’t be mistaken if I say that local fishermen place their hopes mainly on the beautiful Oka. Because, unfortunately, there is no other significant reservoir in the area. And we must admit that Oka fully justifies fishing hopes. After all, it enters the Moscow region in the Serpukhov region as a powerful water artery.

Suffice it to say that its width here reaches more than 200 meters with an average depth of up to two meters. And along the fairway its depth is up to 10 meters. Quiet, calm reaches give way to noisy and fast riffles. Therefore, the fishing conditions are very diverse, and therefore the gear used is different, depending on what kind of fish they intend to catch.

Review of fishing spots on the Oka River and the rivers flowing into it

And the river is rich in fish, there are more than 20 species, including bream, roach, perch, pike, silver bream, ide, chub, asp, pike perch, burbot and even catfish. There are favorite fishing spots here that are eagerly visited by fishermen. We will briefly talk about them, starting from the place where the river “confluences” with the Moscow region and following it downstream.

By the Protva River

So, at the very border of the region, near the village of Protvino, the Protva River . Fishing here suits every taste: some actively hunt for predators with a spinning rod, while others prefer quiet, calm fishing with a float rod or bottom tackle. The catches of spinning anglers include pike perch, asp, pike, perch, chub, and ide. Milkers and floaters remove bream, roach, and ide from hooks.

villages Lanshino and Drakino

Places on the opposite bank of the Oka, near the village of Lanshino, are also attractive for fishing. There are significant depths here, and therefore this place is a haven for bream hunters hunting for bream. The sand spits stretching downstream near the village of Drakino also deserve the attention of fishing lovers.

Here they are “bossed” mainly by spinning anglers, whose prey includes pike perch, pike, and asp. Lures – wobbler, spinner, jig. The section of the river at the confluence of the Skniga River is also of considerable interest. Chub, ide, asp, and roach are successfully caught on the sandbanks and spits here. And in deep-sea places - bream on the bottom.

At Lukyanovo

If you follow the downstream longer, you can find deep-water holes along the right bank near the village of Lukyanovo. This place has long been chosen by breamers. Bronze-scaled beauties weighing up to three kilograms are caught here using spinning rods. Considering that the current here is strong, and you have to cast the bait further from the shore, a heavier sliding sinker-feeder is put on the fishing line.

And here’s what’s remarkable: oddly enough, a piece of fresh lard is used as a bait for catching local bream. Even fishermen from the capital come here for large bream. Moreover, getting here is not difficult: take the train from the Kursky station to the “107th kilometer” platform, then walk towards the village of Lukyanovo and then to the Oka. And by personal vehicles - along the Simferopol highway with a turn after the road bridge over the Oka to the right towards Lukyanovo.

And in the immediate vicinity of the road bridge on the right bank there is an impressive bay, where pike, perch, and asp are successfully caught. There are many interesting places on the left bank of this section. They start immediately after the railway bridge downstream. Bream, pike perch, asp and other fish are successfully caught here. A particularly catchy spot for pike perch is located near the canal connecting the Oka River with a large quarry with the strange name Tsimlyansky .

Lopasnya and Besputa

of the Lopasnya River into it to the village of Malyushina Dacha is also of undoubted interest to fishermen. There are also deep places where bottom fishers catch large bream, and spinners catch pike perch, chub and asp. One cannot ignore the rocky rift on the Oka River, which is not far from the confluence of the Besputa River . Here spinners catch predatory fish.

Mutenka River

In the Kashira area, the section of the Oka River above the road bridge along the Kashirskoye Highway near the village of Lida deserves the attention of fishermen. They fish here with both float rods and donkeys. This place is especially notable for the fact that with the onset of autumn cooling and the onset of inclement weather, active night fishing for burbot begins here. It is on dark, stormy nights that this mysterious nocturnal predator pecks most actively. And it is not surprising that many lovers from all over the Moscow region come here in the hope of catching burbot. You can also catch this predator at the confluence of the small river Mutenka , which is slightly upstream from these places.

Getting here is easy: if you drive along the Kashirskoye Highway, then about a kilometer after the road bridge over the Oka you need to turn right towards the village of Lida. Immediately behind it is a descent to the right towards the Oka.

Kremenyevsky roll

Downstream from Kashira, near the village of Kremenye, the famous Kremenyevo Roll . This is a favorite fishing spot primarily for spinning anglers. Their prey includes pike perch, asp, ide, and chub. And for those who like to catch large bream, the section of the river near the village of Torbushevo, which is located downstream from the riffle, is of undoubted interest. There are deep holes here where you can catch both bream and catfish.

Between Ozery and Kolomna

There are many attractive places for fishing on the section of the river between Ozery and Kolomna. Suffice it to mention the large riffle near the village of Gory, where various predatory fish are successfully caught using spinning rods. And, of course, one cannot ignore the place where the Sturgeon River flows into the Oka. There are all opportunities to catch different fish using any amateur gear.

Fishing is successful not only in the Oka itself. There are many different bodies of water scattered along its banks that are of undoubted interest for fishing enthusiasts - small floodplain lakes, oxbow lakes, quarries, and ponds. You can't list them all. For example, at the very beginning of the river’s flow through the Moscow region, near the village of Lanshino, there are large quarries where you can catch bream, roach, perch and even pike perch.

Tsimlyansky quarry

And on the northern bank of the river, literally next to the Oka railway platform, there is, as mentioned above, a large sand quarry with the strange name Tsimlyansky. The reservoir is quite impressive in size, connected to the Oka by a flowing canal, so in the quarry you can find almost all types of Oka fish. But the predator predominates, although there are also a lot of bream and roaches here.

However, the name Tsimlyansky is not the only one for this reservoir. On the atlas of the Moscow region it is designated as Lake Pavlenskoye . It is unclear which of these names is real. And this body of water can only be called a lake with a big stretch. Of course, this is a quarry, not a lake. But this is not so important. The main thing is that the reservoir is rich in fish.

However, in terms of biting, he is very capricious. I had the opportunity to visit here several times in winter, but I can’t particularly boast of a solid catch. I remember that on my first trip here I spent a long time “probing” the bottom with a depth gauge in search of a more even bottom and a fishing spot suitable in depth. But it was not possible to do this for a long time, since the bottom here is uneven, deep holes alternate with shallows.

Only later, when I spotted the coolest “point” along the coastal landmarks, was it possible to catch large-sized roaches and perches here. And in general, only those who know the topography of the bottom of the reservoir well, the peculiarities of local fishing, and who constantly feed their cool “points” achieve success here.

Rivers Protva, Nara, Pakhra, Desna

the rivers Protva, Nara, Pakhra, and Desna flowing in the southern Moscow region are also of considerable interest to fishermen . The Protva River in its lower reaches, starting from the village of Troitskoye to its confluence with the Oka, is a full-flowing stream. Along the winding ribbon of the river, almost everywhere you can find a convenient and attractive place for fishing with a float rod and bottom tackle for bream, roach, and ide. The places near the village of Yuryatino and further downstream are especially tempting and catchy. Spinning anglers can count on catching pike, perch, and chub.

As for the Nara River , it’s quite possible to unwind here too. Especially in the section of the river below Serpukhov, where the Nara forms a rather wide bay. The catches are dominated by roach, bream, chub, ide, as well as pike and perch.

Within just half an hour's drive from the capital you can get to the Pakhra River . It enjoys deserved popularity not only among fishermen near Moscow, but also among Muscovites. The proximity to the capital and convenient transport links attract many fishing enthusiasts here. And most importantly, the river is rich in a wide variety of fish: bream, roach, crucian carp, silver bream, tench, perch, pike, and there is also carp.

The most interesting and catchable places are the villages of Yam, the village of Novlenskoye and downstream. You can get here by train from Paveletsky station with exit at Leninskaya station. A river flows nearby. And by road - along the Kashirskoye Highway to the road bridge over Pakhra.

The Desna River , which flows into Pakhra west of Podolsk, is not of particular interest for fishing. The reservoir is quite capricious, periods of relative biting alternate with absolute no-biting. Although the fish here are very different: bream, roach, perch, pike, carp is also found in the lower reaches. The most convenient way to get to this river is by car along the Kaluga Highway to the village of Desna. From here you can take a fishing rod downstream, where there are many attractive fishing spots.

There are many other good places for fishing in the southern Moscow region, in particular, there are a lot of ponds rich in large crucian carp, especially within 3-10 km from Barybino station.

Fishing on Lake Pavlensky in the Serpukhov region

The reservoir is located 300 meters from the Oka and is connected to it by a channel. Essentially this is a large bay of a river. The length of the lake is 2 kilometers, the width varies from 300 to 900 meters. The average depth is 4 meters, but there are also greater depths, so you can fish here not only from the shore, but also from a boat.

According to various sources, perch, bream, pike, roach, ruffe, and silver bream are caught here. On blogs, anglers write about catching chub, bleak and asp. On the western side, the Oka railway platform is practically adjacent to the lake. The most popular beach is located near it. To find a quiet place for fishing, it is advised to go north towards Serpukhov. Here the bottom is muddy, and the shore, as a rule, is littered with driftwood and algae. In such conditions, few people will agree to relax, and it will be possible to go fishing calmly.

The reservoir is ideal for microjig fishing. Having planted, for example, a dragonfly larva, you can pull out the perches one by one. Pike are also taken with such a bait; You can also pull out bream. In August the asp bites well. In this case, it is not necessary to go out on a boat or wade into the water - the fish are caught already half a meter from the shore. They are caught using maggots, dung and earthworms.

Winter fishing is also common on the lake. After freeze-up, you can pull out the same perches. During this period, it is better to use a rewinder. The same attachment will help to catch white bream, silver bream or roach. For the same purpose, you can use small jigs with bloodworms.

Main features of the catch

The total length of the Oka exceeds 1,500 thousand kilometers. In the 60s, the amount of fish was so large that fishing cooperatives caught it. With the construction of industrial enterprises and the development of water transport, the population began to slowly decline.

Today in the river you can find the following types of fish:

  • zander;
  • perch;
  • carp;
  • crucian carp;
  • ide;
  • chub;
  • Amur;
  • bream;
  • carp;
  • pike;
  • catfish;
  • burbot.

Fishing tactics greatly depend on the bottom topography. Experienced fishermen know that there are a lot of hooks at the bottom of the Oka.

If you choose the wrong gear, you can lose a lot of bait. But even an expensive and high-quality fishing rod does not guarantee a good catch.

Many fishermen say that it is very difficult to find fishing spots on the Oka. Fishing will be successful if you study the behavioral characteristics of different types of fish.

Bream responds well to bait, but it must be applied regularly, otherwise schools of fish will quickly swim to another place.

Most often, representatives of this species can be found in dumps or pits. You can also catch a lot of bream near old structures.

Flocks of ides can be found near the passes. Individuals can be found both in holes and in shallow water.

Roach and silver bream are most often found near the beach area at a depth of about 3 meters.

But if your goal is to catch a big fish, you should pay attention to places with strong currents near the Oka fairway.

Fishing on the river can be successful in places where snags accumulate. Most often there are large holes in which predators hide. That is why there are a lot of fishermen in such places. Many of them are forced to take their seats in the morning. The advantage of such places is that the fish are fed.

Winter fishing on the Oka can be quite successful. In 3 hours you can catch from 2 to 8 kilograms of fish. Missing a catch is a very rare exception. Even during research trips you can catch a lot of small fish.

Free fishing on the Oka

There are many places for free fishing in the Serpukhov region. A good catch is ensured near the rifts and sand bars. The following places are considered the most popular:

  • The settlement of Lanshino is famous among fishermen for the abundance of asp, perch and ide. Most often, fishing is done using a spinning rod.
  • The village of Protvino attracts lovers of perch, pike perch and asp.
  • The confluence of the Nora River with the Oka is suitable for catching pike perch and pike perch.
  • The bridge near the village of Zibrovo attracts bream lovers.

In the Stupino district of the Moscow region, fishing is quite active.

The section of the river in the area of the Belopesotsky Monastery is popular among fishermen. There you can catch both peaceful fish and predators. Fans of spinning most often install gear in the area of the railway bridge. Opposite the city of Kashira there is a popular cool place . It is very easy to find, since it is located next to the telephone cable laying indicator. The downside of the place is its humidity. Even in summer it is difficult to get there.

In the Lukhovitsky district of the region there is the popular village of Beloomut . It is located near the waterworks on the right bank of the river. Local residents know what kind of fish is found there, as they often vacation there.

In summer you have to occupy convenient areas very early in the morning.

This is due to the fact that the shore is covered with bushes and it is quite difficult to find a convenient approach to the water.

Most often, pike perch become the prey of fishermen.

There are so many of them that some anglers release too small specimens.

Pike and perch are much less common.

Bream lovers can try their luck in the Kolomna area. The village of Bolshoye Kolychevo is located there. Bream are caught using feeders and bottom gear. Some fishermen return home with a catch of perch and ide, but they are much more difficult to find.

Reviews about fishing on the Oka

We had a great time on the Oka River. We went as savages, with tents and fishing rods, everything as it should be. We settled on the left bank near the village of Protvino. We caught many large specimens of pike perch. The weather was good, and the time of year was late spring, which also had a beneficial effect on the fishing process. In a word, everyone was happy. Yes, by the way, we stayed there for two days, we were just going for the weekend. Only positive emotions. Grade:

I visited the village of Luzhki in the Serpukhov district. Time restrictions did not allow us to fully enjoy the fishing process. When I arrived at the place I saw several local bream fishermen, and there were also spinning fishermen. Slowly they pulled out the fish. Luck didn’t smile on me, but the places were too beautiful and alluring. When I have a lot more time, I will definitely come back here again. Grade:

I was driving past the village of Luzhki, taking a boat to friends. I decided to leave the spinning rod for one myself. It was the end of August and already late in the evening. After an hour of my not entirely successful fishing, it was already dark, I switched to jig. My catch that day consisted of one medium-sized pike weighing about three and a half kilograms. We also managed to catch a few pike perch. Grade:

Already at the beginning of September I managed to go fishing on the Oka. I caught dozens of perches using the outlet leash. Successful fishing continued until the evening. Late in the evening I planned to fish for the silver bream, but apparently she somehow didn’t really want to start biting. In general, to no avail, just one small thing came across. I wanted to catch large specimens. After the failure, I decided to fish with wobblers. Somehow the preparation process took a long time for me. As a result, only in the morning I made my first catch - a chub weighing almost a kilogram. Then we managed to catch another one, about the same weight. And by dawn we came across a particularly large specimen, a little more than two kilograms.

I was on the Oka when it was a little dark. I decided to fish on the feeder. I set the feeder to 50 grams. I threw it quite often - every 5-7 minutes. The spent hour and a half yielded zero results. Then I came across the first trophy - a small roach. So I caught one roach of approximately the same size. In the end I caught a perch, and that was the end of my fishing. In principle, I am satisfied with the result. Grade:

Thus, fishing on the Oka is a fun and interesting activity. In addition to the fact that you can relax on this river on your own, there are travel companies that offer additional services.

Special people of such companies:

  1. They will accompany you to the fishing spot.
  2. They will select gear according to the fisherman’s needs.
  3. They will advise you on fishing issues of interest.
  4. They will cook the caught catch: using a barbecue, grill or simply over a fire.
  5. They will tell you which fishing method is best to choose.

Places near the city of Kolomna

The local area is ideal for fishermen who prefer to fish for bream. The largest bream live near Kolychev. Fishing for pike perch and ide also takes place here . But a little further, closer to the Moscow River, the reservoir is simply entangled in the networks of poachers. And normal sport fishing is almost impossible. But in the very place where the Moscow River flows into the Oka, there is excellent fishing for donka, bream (albeit not so large), spinning zander, pike and asp.

Fishing areas on the Oka River in the Serpukhov region

As mentioned above, there are still places on this river where real fishermen can “relax their souls.” Such places are considered:

  • Limits of the city of Serpukhov.
  • The area of the Lopaski River, or rather the place where it flows into the Oka.
  • Limits of the city of Kashira.
  • Limits of the city of Ozyory.
  • Malyushina Dacha area.
  • Limits of the city of Kolomna.

What places should you look for?

To choose a good place for fishing, you should follow some rules. For example:

  • It is better to choose areas where there is no fast current and no undercurrents or funnels.
  • You should pay attention to the nature of the bottom. The most successful places have a clean, level bottom strewn with small stones.
  • The depths of the sections are also of significant importance. Where there is continuous shallow water, you should not count on good fish.

As for winter fishing, there are certain nuances when searching for fish sites. For example:

  • You need to look for holes, that is, the deepest places, since the fish go to the holes for the winter.
  • The main bait is a worm, maggot or bloodworm. At this time, fish do not bite on baits of plant origin.
  • When going winter fishing, you should think about how to dress warmly and how to provide yourself with a warm lunch or just a warm drink.

On the Oka River you can find a place for fishing at any time of the year. People usually take tents, boats, etc. with them when fishing in order to fish comfortably. At the same time, there are many options when you can go fishing and relax in comfort without additional fishing equipment. To prevent the fisherman from carrying around a bunch of sometimes unnecessary things, there are special recreation centers on the banks of the Oka. In addition, in the Serpukhov region there are a sufficient number of paid reservoirs, where the catch is always guaranteed.

Good fishing spots are located near the city of Kashira, where there are many quarries. There are plenty of fish here, such as pike, pike perch and perch.

Paid places

Paid fishing spots are characterized by the following conditions:

  • At recreation centers or within a paid reservoir, you can stay in a house or cottage, which allows you to spend as much time as you like fishing.
  • Here, as a rule, they offer food, rental of all equipment and a parking space for a car.
  • Here, the catch is almost guaranteed, since the reservoirs are regularly stocked with fish.

Free places

In this case, undeveloped places may turn out to be no worse than equipped ones, both in terms of recreation and in terms of fishing. All you need to do is take with you everything you need for a comfortable stay and find a suitable place. There are even camping sites organized by fishermen and vacationers. Moreover, the fee here for services is purely symbolic.

The most fishy places on the Oka in the Serpukhov region

Even though “wild” tranquility has not prevailed on this river for a long time, there are still places where fishing lovers can satisfy their need and go fishing in peace.

These include:

  • City of Serpukhov.
  • The Lopasnya River, or rather the place of its confluence with the Oka. The Lopasnya River is its left tributary.
  • City of Kashira.
  • City of Ozyory.
  • The border with the Serpukhov district is Malyushina Dacha.
  • City of Kolomna.

Where to stay?

When choosing a place to bite, you should consider some general rules:

  • It is necessary to choose that part of the reservoir where there is a more or less calm current: without funnels, undercurrents, and so on.
  • It is important to pay attention to the bottom. If possible, you need to find an area with a flatter bottom, strewn, for example, with small pebbles.
  • The depth of the area also matters. The optimal option is about 3 or a little more meters.

This concerns summer fishing. In winter, there are other nuances to finding a place to fish:

  • It is best to fish in holes.
  • Winter is a time of hunger and cold, so fish bite best on bait of animal origin. For example, for a worm or maggot.
  • Also, do not forget about yourself, and warm yourself properly and stock up on hot drinks.

There are many different places on the Oka where you can organize fishing. In most cases, people travel with their own amenities, tents and boats. But there are also options when you can relax with special comfort. These are special bases for tourists and fishing grounds.

There are good fishing spots near the city of Kashira. There fish are found in quarries. Pike, zander and perch are found in large numbers.

Paid places

As for paid places for fishing, the following points can be highlighted:

  • At the bases or on the grounds, you can stay in a special house or even a cottage.
  • Meals, rental of necessary equipment, and parking will be provided here.
  • Paid placement differs from free placement in that the fish catch is practically guaranteed, since no one will scare away the fish. Silence is subject to special control.

Free places

Free places are sometimes no worse. If you have everything you need: a tent, a boat, fishing rods, and so on, then you can stay on some beach with no less comfort.

There are even special camping sites organized by wild fishermen. As an alternative, for a small fee you can stay in a ready-made campsite.
