Cooking recipes
The traditional recipe is salmon baked in its own juices in foil. In terms of taste, this dish is superior to steamed fish delicacies.
For baking you need the following set of products:
- Salmon (fillet) – 600 gr.
- Olive oil (you can use other vegetable oil) – 2 tbsp. l.
- Lemon – 1 pc.
- Salt - half a teaspoon.
- The greens taste fresh.
- Seasonings.
The following seasonings are suitable as aromatic additions: coriander, marjoram, white and black pepper, oregano, cumin. The most suitable herbs are cilantro, parsley, basil, dill, green onions and leeks.
The carcass is cut into fillets as follows: first, the entrails are removed and the fish is washed in water. Then they divide along the ridge into 2 parts, removing the bones. To prevent salmon from sticking to the foil during cooking, do not remove the skin. The skin will remain on the foil after baking.
When baking, each piece can be placed in foil separately and the dish can be served in foil.
The filleted meat is cut into pieces approximately 2.5 to 5 cm thick. The pieces can be placed by wrapping each separately, or in the usual way - in the total mass. Place skin on foil, meat side up.
Cooking steps:
Cheese soup with salmon

- Place the pieces on foil.

The classic cooking method is steaks in herbs, baked without foil. In this case, you will need three large steaks, a set of herbs and spices to taste, lemon, and vegetable oil for greasing the mold or baking sheet.
To grease the steaks you will need natural yogurt or sour cream. 2 tbsp is enough. l. The sauce is prepared as follows: mix sour cream (yogurt) with finely chopped herbs.
Important! When preparing baked salmon dishes, greens can be added in any quantity; this will only emphasize the aroma of the noble dish. But you shouldn’t get carried away with spices; they should be used in moderation so as not to overwhelm the subtle fishy smell.
We cook according to the same principle. First, dip the steaks in lemon juice, then place them on a greased baking sheet. Rub the pieces with a small amount of spices. We cover each steak with a “coat” of sauce up to 5 mm thick.
Approximate baking time is 25 minutes. The temperature in the oven is 200–220 degrees. Shortly before the end of baking, you can place thin slices of lemon on top.
