PVC boat Hunter 380 PRO inflatable with motor

I bought it in mid-August, four of us at once on two boats, with oars, rafted along the Luga from Tolmachevo to Lemovzha.
The pair was paired with a PVC boat Admiral 320; at the same intensity of rowing (the load is approximately the same - 2 people and a shmurdyak) it goes ahead, maybe due to the fact that the Admiral is a little narrower. After 3 weeks I bought a Suzuki DF5S motor, under it a boat with just me on the gissa goes 25-26 km/h. according to the GPS, together - I weigh 85 kg, the back, about 70 kg + an external tank with 13 liters of gasoline, a pair of spinning rods and a bag with fishing gadgets, it turns out, apparently as they call it, for a half-plane of 20-22 km/h. On Volkhov, when pulling the boat ashore, the bottom ran into a broken bottle, a slight scratch remained on the bottom and the keel protection, the material is quite strong. The included oars are quite decent, I propped the boat up with an oar while drying on the shore and left; when I arrived, I discovered that the plastic part was bent at 90 degrees, but did not break; after a while it straightened itself. When you go under the engine on a planing plane, the nose sometimes yaws slightly; I have not yet figured out the pattern of occurrence of this effect. Also, since the moment of purchase, I have not been able to put the carcass of the boat back into the standard bag like that. > market.yandex.ru

Inflatable boat Hunter 360 A – NEW with a stationary low-pressure inflatable keel bottom. This is a universal inflatable boat for fishing, hunting and active recreation on large inland lakes, rivers, and estuaries. On such an inflatable PVC boat it is not scary to go out to Ladoga or sail on other large lakes and rivers.

A distinctive feature of the Hunter 360 A inflatable boat is a permanently installed low-pressure inflatable bottom. The inflatable bottom is an independent sealed compartment glued between the cylinders of an inflatable boat. One of the obvious advantages of this design is its low weight, compactness and rigidity when assembled. When assembling an inflatable boat with a low-pressure bottom, there is no installation of the floor as such - you just need to inflate the boat compartments and install the seats and oars.

The fully inflatable design provides the Hunter 360 A boat with additional comfort and safety. You can sit comfortably in the boat, because on the low-pressure inflatable bottom you can lie, sit, stand, walk or fish at full height. The additional volume of air in a stationary inflatable bottom increases the buoyancy and, as a result, the carrying capacity of a PVC inflatable boat.

When designing Hunter inflatable boats with a stationary low-pressure inflatable bottom, the designers tried to create a modern inflatable boat with a moderate keel bottom, characteristic of classic PVC inflatable boats.

Thanks to the stationary low-pressure inflatable bottom, the boat has a shallow draft and is excellent for rapids rivers and reservoirs with rocky banks and bottom.

The inflatable boat Hunter 360 A is completely assembled into one bag, which is very convenient when transporting or storing it.

Among the main advantages of the inflatable boat Hunter 330 A are the following:

— Light weight of the assembled boat - transportation, assembly and operation of the boat can be carried out by one person.

— Compact packaging - the boat can be transported to the fishing spot in a small car.

— Quick assembly of an inflatable boat - just inflate all the inflatable compartments and the boat is ready for fishing or hunting.

— The ability to install a heavy and powerful motor - the transom of the inflatable boat is made of laminated waterproof plywood 27 mm thick, which is glued into the boat cylinders using special plastic cups (transholders)

— The low-pressure inflatable bottom, already included in the basic configuration, is reinforced in the stern and bow parts with a special protective PVC strip, this allows you to fearlessly pull the boat ashore.

— Quick access to planing under low-power motors – due to the low weight of the inflatable boat, it is possible to enter planing under a low-power motor.

We present to you a modernized model of the inflatable boat Hunter 360 A.

— The update to the Hunter 360 A inflatable boat model directly affected the stern section. At numerous requests from customers, a drain valve was installed, the stationary low-pressure inflatable bottom (LPND) was also significantly modernized, and PVC protection was installed on the edge of the transom.

— A support plate is installed in the stern of the boat, the so-called “INTERCEPTOR”. Optimization of the stalling of water flow in the stern of the boat, quick access to planing, as well as an increase in maximum speed under a low-power motor, these are the main advantages of boats with an inflatable stationary inflatable bottom, which is equipped with interceptor.

— A drain valve is installed in the stern of the PVC Hunter 360 A boat. The upgraded A-Series inflatable boats are now equipped with a drain valve that is mounted on the transom. .

— But the price and five-year warranty remained the same. Despite the changes made to the design of the Hunter 360 A inflatable boat, we have maintained the old retail price for our customers.

Video from the test drive of the PVC boat Hunter 360 A :

hunterboat.ru

Good day! I have been using the boat since May 20, 2016 (As permitted by the regulations) identified positive aspects: • Very light, it is convenient to carry it alone on the transom wheels; • Beautiful in appearance (to my taste); • Large cylinders are a definite plus! • NDND is a great thing, I didn’t expect it, standing no less comfortable than on wood or aluminum + lying on the floor is more comfortable, softer, warmer;

Stages of growth: • The cylinders get very dirty and can be washed only with a light solution of acetone; • In the picture there are half rings along the edges of the cylinder, in fact there are none • The envelope bag was worn out in 2 trips. Rubbed in the places where the cans lay; • Protection from splashes is not enough, at a speed of more than 15 km/h, if not on a planing plane, the front passenger gets wet, and if there is a small wave, then change your underwear... • Additional protection is needed at the bottom of the cylinder, because if there are no transom wheels, you have to drag it along the shore. The cylinders already have small scratches; • The branded stickers on the sides are already frayed and slightly faded (on the water every weekend since May 25); • I would make the mounts for the cans on the cylinders longer for the front passenger, by 10 centimeters.

it turns out that the “driver” has nowhere to put his legs (my height is 185 cm), and the “passenger” happily stretches them completely forward. I have bags on my cans; • The fender is poorly glued, or the fender itself is of poor quality - “in the middle” along the curved cylinders, in waves or something; • There is no drain valve, it’s a mystery to me why... other manufacturers have it. Although, in fact, while sailing on water, it is dry inside... when you wash the boat, it is not convenient. Despite the long list of growth milestones for Hunter, I am very happy with the boat! I couldn't find a better option for my money. Will I buy it again? - YES!

Accordingly, my improvements and needs were identified empirically. I did everything myself. I used PVC glue from Master:

06/27/2016: As practice has shown, a 10mm flat line is not convenient for an anchor cable. Sometimes it gets stuck on the eye roller. Only use round rope!

Continuation 06/27/2016: I thought for a long time about how to attach stands for fishing rods... there was also a mount on a can, but practice has shown (in my opinion) that it is not practical: You attach it to a can in front of you - it interferes with working with oars; You attach it to your can - it prevents you from spinning and sitting. I started to inflate the boat with one solution for attaching fishing rods (I decided on the transom), but my brother (Stony55) advised me to do it differently, I liked the solution and we implemented it:

What else am I planning: 1. Strengthening the cylinders at the bottom of the boat; 2. Reinforcement of cylinders at the point where the anchor touches; 3. Once I set the engine height, I will cover the transom wood with plastic and PVC; 4. Mounts for rods and landing net; 5. Stabilization of the chair; 6. Running awning; 7. Running lights; 8. Drain valve; 9. Round anchor rope 10mm; And maybe what else... can you recommend?

Equipment for inflatable boats "Hunter"

Despite the fact that Hunter boats are not so expensive, their basic equipment is quite rich.

Characteristics and equipment of the boat Hunter 320

The basic package includes:

  • Boat - 1 pc.
  • Collapsible oar - 2 pcs.
  • Foot pump - 1 pc.
  • Adapter for valve - 1 pc.
  • Hard seat - 1-2 pcs.
  • Carrying bag - 1 pc.
  • Repair kit - 1 pc.
  • Operating instructions - 1 pc.

This is a pretty good set for such a budget class. Often, more expensive competitors cannot boast of the same rich equipment.

If desired, you can purchase additional equipment that will help you fish with greater comfort.

As additional equipment, Hunter offers:

  1. Anchor equipment. It will help you lock in the right place, preventing the wave from carrying you away from the fishing spot. Anchors come in different types and also come in different weights. Each type of anchor is designed for a specific type of reservoir bottom.
  2. A beam designed to protect the sides. This beam will be useful if you often moor to a pier or pier. The fender is presented in the form of a dense rubber strip stretching along the entire side.
  3. Rod holders . This addition will be especially useful for fishermen. If there is strong rocking, the rod can easily fall overboard, but with a rod holder this can be avoided. This add-on is installed on board. Transformable awning for Hunter boat
  4. Soft seats . If you are going to spend a lot of time swimming, then you need this device. It will help relieve stress from your back, which will have a positive effect on your health. In cold weather, the soft seats will never feel cold.
  5. Bow bag for storing various fishing gear. Every fisherman has a bunch of small, but necessary accessories. With a strong wave, small things will constantly move along the bottom. With the help of a nasal bag, this problem can be easily avoided.
  6. An awning that will allow you to fish even in bad weather. Often fishermen have to fish in the rain. To keep all your gear and belongings dry, you should use an awning. There are two types of awnings. The first type covers only the nose; such an awning is called a running awning. The second type of awning covers the boat completely; this type of awning is called a parking awning, although with this type of awning you can safely move at low speeds.

Advantages and disadvantages

  • The undoubted advantage of Hunter boats is their durability . All models of this brand are made of high-quality material with high density. This type of material is very difficult to pierce with driftwood, and also if you smoke and suddenly the ash from your cigarette falls on the side, then nothing bad will happen, since PVC is difficult to burn through, even if you deliberately try.
  • It is worth noting the excellent quality of the seams . After many years of exhausting use, the seams do not separate or crack.
  • Hunter Hunter soft seats
    are lightweight . This is especially appreciated by those who go fishing alone.
  • deflated flotation device ; it does not take up much space in your car.
  • The buyer is also given a choice of several colors to choose from . Light colors are suitable for those who do a lot of fishing in the hot summer, since a light-colored boat will bask less in the sun. Dark colors will be preferable for hunters, since a dark boat is more difficult to notice in the reeds.
  • The spacious cockpit is also a big plus. It’s much more comfortable to swim in this, and the diameter of the side prevents splashes from getting into it.

Of the minuses , I can note that some models have only one handle for carrying the boat. This minus applies to small-sized models. Perhaps this is Hunter's only negative.

Explanation of symbols in markings

When choosing a boat, people are often faced with incomprehensible letters in the markings. These markings indicate the type or class.

  1. A series marked P means that the watercraft is sold at a reduced price.
  2. There are often models marked H , which means that this option is equipped with a low-pressure bottom (abbreviated as LPND). Models with and without a keel are equipped with this bottom. The inflatable bottom is very convenient to use, it is very easy to clean and wash, but fishermen do not like it, since there is a risk of puncturing the bottom with a spoon or other fishing paraphernalia. One of the most important advantages of such a bottom is its light weight; it has very small dimensions when assembled. When assembling a watercraft with a similar bottom, you simply need to inflate the sides, as well as install the cans and oars.
  3. Boats with the letter L in their name have a lyktros/lykpaz seat fastening system. This mounting system allows the seats to be moved along their entire length, which allows you to adjust the free space in the cockpit. This fastening system is the most popular and in demand among fishermen.
  4. The letter T in the name means that the model is equipped with a hinged transom. The hinged transom allows you to install a low-power motor. The advantage of such solutions is ease of transportation. This model will also be a little lighter than the version with a stationary transom.
  5. you can find the letter K. This means that this type is equipped with an inflatable keel, which allows you to smoothly get on the plane. Also, keel inflatable boats have excellent controllability at both high and low speeds. This type will be preferable for moving across large water areas, where high speed can be achieved, and where a lot of maneuvering is necessary.

Types of Hunter boats

You should choose the appropriate option based on where you are going to sail on it, as well as for what purposes you are going to use it.

  1. Rowing boats . Such models are intended exclusively for oaring. There is an exception when a slant is added to a flat bottom. These options are good for short distance sailing on small ponds or lakes.
  2. Motor boats are equipped with a rigid, stationary transom, on which you can install a fairly powerful motor. This option has either an inflatable or a flat bottom with a sling. You can also find a keel in such boats. This type has proven itself to be excellent for long and long trips along large rivers or even seas. Motorized options can handle big waves just fine. The material density of this type is higher than that of its simple rowing counterparts.
  3. Motor rowing options are a kind of hybrid of the first and second options. There are both expensive and cheap options for motor rowing. This is an excellent universal option that is suitable for most who want to purchase a watercraft. Motor-rowing models have both a transom and oars.
  4. There are also options with an inflatable bottom . This type is more suitable for simple water riding. Fishermen prefer not to mess with such models.
  5. Small boats are used for short swims over short distances. This type comes only in a rowing version, because it does not require a motor at all. These options are designed for one person. It is often used to feed the fishing spot, which the model does with a bang.

Popular models and their costs

  1. The Hunter 280 is a rowing model. An undoubted advantage is the expanded stern, which allows you to conveniently work with gear. The load capacity is 220 kg, which allows the fisherman to take a fairly large amount of equipment. The Hunter 280 can comfortably sail two people, and there will be plenty of space for luggage. It doesn’t take much time to assemble the inventory, no more than 15 minutes. The price is 16 thousand rubles.
  2. The Hunter 290 model is a motor rowing boat. Great for medium distance travel. There is also a stationary transom on which you can install a motor with a power of up to 5 hp. With. This power is enough to carry one person on the glider. The load capacity of 300 kg allows three people to sail. The Hunter 290 is suitable for rowing, the stroke is very easy, you can move quite quickly on the oars. The price is 17 thousand rubles.
  3. The Hunter 300 LT model is equipped with a hinged transom, on which you can install a small motor with a power of no more than 3.6 hp. The model is made of very durable PVC fabric, the density of which is 750 g/sq. m, this will allow you not to be afraid of small snags. Great for hunters and fishermen, as well as for outdoor enthusiasts. The big advantage is that the kit comes with a full-fledged slan - a book to cover the entire bottom. Thanks to this addition, you can fish while standing, which is very convenient. There is also a movable seat mount, which also increases comfort. It will cost 17 thousand rubles.
  4. The Hunter 320 boat is one of the most popular models in the Hunter line. The model comes in two versions: with an inflatable bottom and with a sling. Both the first and second options are in great demand in stores. This model is designed for a motor of up to 6 hp, and can also accommodate 3 people with luggage. At the same time, the weight is small, only 30 kg, which allows you to easily carry the Hunter 320. The sling that comes with the kit has a thickness of 9 mm, which is excellent for controllability when working with the engine.
  5. The Hunter 360 boat is the largest of them all. Hunter 360 is produced with various types of floors, and all of them are equipped with a keel. The maximum provided motor power is 18 hp. You can safely go out onto large rivers without fear of waves. Capacity is limited to 550 kg, or 4 passengers. Despite its impressive size, when deflated it can carry 2 people.

Boat Hunter 320 LN

The inflatable, motor-rowing PVC boat Hunter 320 LN is the lightest in the presented model range, a three-meter watercraft for three people with a flat bottom NDND. Light weight requires the installation of a low-power motor with a power of up to 5 horsepower. This is an ideal option for fishing in shallow water, moving along rapids rivers and lakes, and swampy areas. The vessel with a low-pressure inflatable bottom is easy and quick to assemble on shore. All that is necessary is to alternately inflate the three compartments and the inflatable LP floor. Hang the benches, secure the oars, install the engine and carefully lower the finished watercraft into the water.

For rivers with rapids, the keel will be superfluous. But an inflatable low-pressure bottom is what is needed to absorb movement, isolate itself from cold water with an air floor and increase the buoyancy and balancing of the vessel.

The package for the inflatable PVC HUNTERBOAT 320 LN includes:

  • a pair of collapsible oars;
  • two benches;
  • pump;
  • repair kit;
  • carrying bag;

Tips for use

  1. Once you buy a Hunter boat, don’t forget about caring for it. After each sailing, be sure to wash the boat both outside and inside. This is done in order to remove all debris that got on the boat during operation. If this is not done, then even small twigs and pebbles can damage the material in the future.
  2. Also don't forget about safety.
  3. Don't forget to wear life jackets.
    When using a boat with a motor, be sure to use the emergency switch; if you fall, the motor will stall and the boat will not float away from you.
  4. When swimming in bodies of water where there are snags, you should be extremely careful; if you catch a particularly sharp snag, you will get a hole.
  5. In no case should you exceed the maximum permissible engine power, this can lead to very dire consequences.
  6. Before storing your equipment for winter storage, you should wash and clean it very well, and then dry it. It should be stored in a warm and dry room; it is best not to leave your favorite fishing equipment in the garage at home, since dampness has a bad effect on the seams; subsequently, already in the second year of use, you may encounter the fact that the seams will begin to come off.
  7. If you follow all operating rules and take good care of the craft, it will serve you for more than one season.
  8. You should not store the boat near heating appliances or in places where rodents live. If you are not sure that there are no rodents in the room where the PVC boat will be stored, treat it with special anti-rodent agents.

Specifications

It has excellent characteristics both when using oars and when using a motor. The motor is not included, but you can use up to 25 horsepower. Thanks to the keel, the boats are very stable. They have good load capacity and spaciousness. Recently, the new Hunter 360a, an updated model, has been released.
